my 2nd day with toki pona
i found this site which i think i referenced yesterday, and i have been working through the pages learning toki pona.
first thing it taught me was the vowels and consonants, i was interested by the fact that the only consonant which differes from english is 'j' which is pronounced 'y' like in yellow.
also sentences do not begin with capital letters tp (toki pona)!!
which works fine for me as i dislike doing that
i then learned 1st, 2nd and 3rd person pronouns. mi, sina, and ona respectivly.
as well as 16 other voacabulary words .
voacab ^that i found unicode for^
☋ - musi - entertainment, play, artistic, creation, frivolous
â—¡ - pona - good, simple, friendly, peaceful
. - suwi - sweet, fragrant, cute, innocent, adorable
' - sin - new, fresh ; additional
6 - sina - 2nd person pronoun (you/yours)
⌒ - ike - bad, evil, non-essential, irelevant
Grammer stuffs the predicate goes after the subject
